SIR, THERE’S A MEGALODON IN THE HUDSON RIVER

The T-Rex wasn’t angry with them, quite the opposite in fact, but the more noise he made to introduce himself the more they scattered. He had never seen bipeds like this before. They kept making shrill noises of fear (that much he understood) and running away from him. How was he supposed to investigate what they were if they kept running away from him?

Perhaps it was the unusual smell coming from beneath him that was making them run? He looked down to see that he had unintentionally crushed one of the noisy things beneath his right foot. Its body was an unrecognisable pulp, which was oozing out some kind of red liquid. The smell was emanating from a brown stain near its rear end.

Ah, so that’s what these bipeds were!

Food.
